Annual meetings are a cooperative membership benefit. The annual meeting provides an opportunity for members to hear reports about the cooperative's operations, receive a financial update, and participate in trustee elections.

Trustee Elections
Trustee Elections for Pioneer Electric’s Board of Trustees take place by mail-in ballot, electronic ballot, or votes cast on the day of the meeting onsite. Pioneer Electric’s Bylaws govern the election process and qualifications for candidates.
The nomination period for the 2022 Trustee Elections is open until August 16, 2022. Three (3) positions on the Pioneer Electric Board of Trustees will be elected at the Annual Meeting on October 15, 2022.
To become a candidate in one of the trustee elections, you must be a Pioneer Electric Cooperative member, residing for at least 12 months in the district you wish to represent. To be placed on the ballot for 2022, nominees must obtain 25 signatures of members living in the district and submit them to Pioneer Electric by August 16, 2022.
District 2: Portions of Butler, Monroe and Conecuh counties. Currently represented by Carey Thompson.
District 5: Portions of Lowndes and Autauga counties. Currently represented by David Lyon, Jr.
District 8: Portions of Dallas and Wilcox counties. Currently represented by Linda Arnold.
